Emergency Relief Fund: ACE Houston Families & Schools
We have all watched in disbelief as Hurricane Harvey has devastated the City of Houston, and while the images are hard to believe, we draw inspiration from the strength and resilience of Houstonians. There is no doubt the city will rebuild, and be better and stronger than ever. As Houstonians like to say, they are Houston Strong, Texas Proud.
We launched ACE Scholarships Houston this school year, and have partnered with 35 private schools across the city, and are providing scholarships to 350 at-risk, low-income children. We are working to determine the extent of the need within our Houston partner private schools, all of which are directly in the affected area (map of schools), and with our families, many of whom have been displaced by the hurricane.
And today we have launched an ACE Houston Emergency Relief Fund.
We hope to raise $525,000. If we are able to meet this fundraising goal, ACE will provide funding for the following items:
Family Support – Up to $500 per student for new school uniforms, backpacks and other school supplies.
School Support – Up to $10,000 to each Partner School to replace damaged library books, textbooks and classroom/teacher supplies.
100% of money raised will go directly to help our Houston partner private schools and our ACE families displaced by the storm.
Now, more than ever, our Houston neighbors need our help. Together, we can provide much needed assistance as they deal with the aftermath of this devastating hurricane. Returning to a sense of normalcy, as much as is possible, is critical in the aftermath of a disaster, especially for children. That means returning to school. So please join us in helping our Houston schools reopen as soon as possible.

I truly value your commitment to ACE Scholarships, whether you support our program in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, Louisiana or Houston. Today we are one nation, and ACE is one family.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
