ACE Scholarships Announces an Initial 9,890 of 10,000 Utah Fits All Scholarship Recipients Are Within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (May 3, 2024) – ACE Scholarships, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to K-12 education opportunities that was selected to manage the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, today announced that an initial 9,890 of 10,000 total recipients of the Utah Fits All Scholarship are from families earning less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The remaining 110 scholarships have not yet been awarded due to pending appeal resolutions. A complete breakdown of applicant priority category information will be released on Friday, May 10, 2024.

15,914 applications representing 27,270 students were submitted for the 10,000 available scholarships designated by the Utah State Legislature.

As of today, May 3, waitlisted students will be able to view their waitlist number in the ACE Access portal. Waitlist numbers indicate a student’s position in line for a Utah Fits All Scholarship and are subject to change based on appeal determinations and as additional funds become available. Scholarship funds may become available through interest accrued on scholarship funds or as awarded students exit the program. Students and parents are encouraged to continue checking their waitlist number throughout the school year.

Students remaining on the waitlist at the end of the 2024-25 school year who reapply for a Utah Fits All Scholarship for the 2025-26 school year will be prompted to update their saved information by verifying their residency and providing updated income information.
