Utah Fits All Scholarship Program Applications to Open February 28
Utah’s new education savings account program will prioritize lower-income families.
SALT LAKE CITY (February 20, 2024) — The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program will be accepting applications from eligible students on Feb. 28 through Apr. 15, 2024.
The $42.5 million education savings account (ESA) program, passed by the Utah legislature in 2023, will provide up to $8,000 to about 5,000 Utah K-12 students during its inaugural 2024-25 school year. The funds may be used for approved education expenses, including private school tuition and fees, homeschooling, alternative schooling, tutoring, testing fees, and curriculum costs.
Students must be Utah residents and eligible to participate in K-12 public school to be eligible for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. Applications will be prioritized based on income; however, all students who meet the eligibility requirements are welcome to apply.
Students who receive ESA funds will be given a scholarship account that can be accessed and managed online.
ACE Scholarships, a nonprofit committed to helping lower-income parents provide better educational opportunities to their children, was selected by the Utah State Board of Education to manage the program.
Information about the program and how to apply is available at https://ufascholarship.com.
