ACE is… Hope

At ACE Scholarships, our families know that if their children have the opportunity to attend the school that’s right for them, they are going to excel. And that’s exactly what we’re seeing.

No matter which school our families choose to attend, the results speak for themselves. ACE scholars consistently outperform their public school low-income peers in reading and math, and they graduate from high school at higher rates.

But ACE is more than just numbers.

“ACE is hope. I don’t know where I would be right now without ACE. It’s given me opportunities I probably never would have gotten had I not gone to a private school with the help of ACE,” shares ACE High School Senior Erasmo.

For Erasmo, these opportunities include attending Cornell University’s prestigious Telluride Association Summer Program and founding his high school’s first-ever Higher Education Outreach Club, with its mission to not only be a social and emotional support network for underclassmen, but also to offer academic mentorship, walk students through the college and financial aid application processes, and provide opportunities such as college tours.

Erasmo’s private schools have helped form him as a whole person, and he’s paying it forward by contributing back to his community. His mom Martha shares, “As a parent, there’s nothing more I could hope for.” She adds, “Through ACE, I have been able to give my children a life once unknown and impossible to us parents. My kids would not be where they are today without this organization.”
