In Houston, Texas, ACE is working to give children of low-income families the opportunities they deserve.

When it comes to getting a good education in Texas, children from low-income families are falling behind. In fact, just 23% of 3^rd graders from low-income families are reading at grade level and only 27% of 8^th graders from low-income families are doing math at grade level. But in our first year in Texas, we raised over $2M to support approximately 1,000 students and fill roughly 10% of empty private school seats.
